Baltimore was just named #7 on Forbes magazine’s list of Top Ten Cities for job growth in 2009. Go us!

Fortune magazine just published their list of the world’s 500 largest companies. WalMart is ranked number 1. The company has 2,055,000 employees. Exxon Mobil, the world’s #2 company has a mere 107,100.

If all of WalMart’s employees lived together in the same place, WalMart would be the 5th largest city in the United States, narrowly losing out to Houston Texas.

That is messed up.

I’ve just returned from a trip the London International Advertising Awards.  Our radio campaign for the Maryland Science Center won a Silver medal at the show. Here are a few photos from the ceremony. You can listen to the winning campaign below. Enjoy!

As I was going through some files the other day, I came across these breathtaking shots of my old bathroom in Fells Point.

The room featured a modern design aesthetic that can only be described as “Charmin Chic.”

It was a thing to behold.

I didn’t see the scooter coming when I stepped off the curb last night, although, I admit I wasn’t really paying attention.

It was at the corner of 14th and University Place in Union Square.

I was running late for dinner.

I didn’t see any cars coming, so I stepped into the street.

As I crossed into traffic, I looked down at my phone to check the time.

Just then, the oncoming scooter beeped at me.

I stopped in my tracks and looked up just in time to see the man on the Vespa zoom past.

It was Mario Batali.

Give me a pit bull in pants.
